SIL 2 certification in accordance with the international standard IEC 61508 for EUS-2 successfully completed.
We are pleased that we have already received the SIL 2 certificate for functional safety from TÜV Nord for our Overfill Prevention Controller EUS-2 for bottom loading tank trucks. This means our EUS-2 already meets the newly added requirements for the safety integrity level (SIL) before the end of the transition period specified in the current DIN EN 13922:2020.
Rated with SIL 2 the Overfill Prevention Controller EUS-2 offers a higher reliability respectively risk reduction than required by the standard (SIL 1). With immediate effect, all newly manufactured EUS-2 devices will be delivered with a SIL 2 certificate.
