Now it’s getting exciting!
Timm Elektronik is nominated as semi-finalist of the German competition ‘Grand Prix for mid-sized companies’.
Timm Elektronik is one of 24 companies from Northern Germany (region of the federal states Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg) that reached the semi-finals in the competition for Germany’s most popular economic award. 4,923 small and medium-sized companies throughout Germany were nominated in the first round of the competition.
No other economic competition receives a response over many years comparable to the ‘Grand Prix for mid-sized companies’ organized by the Oskar-Patzelt-Foundation since 1994. In 2008 and 2016, the foundation was honored with ‘The Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany’ and was distinguished by the Company Change Award in 2015.
The competition not only considers individual segments but the company in its entirety. The independent jury uses five criteria to evaluate the companies: overall development of the company, creation/protection of jobs and training places, modernization and innovation, involvement in the region, service and customer proximity (marketing).
The selected semi-finalists from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg will be honored on 16 September 2017 in Düsseldorf as part of an award ceremony. This is also when we will learn whether Timm Elektronik belongs to the five finalists and has the chance to win the prize trophy.
